Looking for a Hero
Bali, 2 August 2010… The Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions (CBTC) has announced the debut of its campaign "Looking For A Hero” in cooperation with the Jakarta Globe (JG). The campaign ties in with Sony Ericsson Women’s Tennis Association (SEWTA) Tours global campaign “Heroes Among Us". Similar to that of SEWTA Tour, the campaign recognizes women in the community who are inspiring. The initiative aims to raise awareness of equality issues and create leadership opportunities for women. Starting July 26 until September 17, the “Looking For A Hero” program calls fans across Indonesia to nominate a woman who has made a difference in the lives of their surrounding community. The winner and their hero will get cash prizes and a trip to Bali to watch the tennis heroes’ championship.
